 1. Banakekeleni Orphanage

IT’S a non-profit organization which started in 2000, after the founder Rose Martins Kubayi former teacher at Realogile high school resigned from teaching .It was registered in 2003, but the main challenge was to get a proper facility to accommodate children. Then last year we got an offer of a building at corner 4rd and 3rd street at Marlboro, were we operating

Aims Objectives

To provide a secure environment for our orphans and vulnerable children. To Promote a sense of belonging and that the are loved and appreciated. To also promote independence on each of them. To prepare them to be ready to face the future when they exit the centre.

Mission and Vision

To invest in our children's future so that they do not become a begging nation. To instill morals and values to expose them to art and diverse cultures- All above will be a tool whne they exit the centre in the future

We operate a 24 hr service, daily with 10 staff members, two cleaning ladies and laundry, two for cooking and one security guard for the day and one at night, one driver, one administrator, a co-ordinator and a project manager.   

                                                                           

2. Abangani Enkosini


As an organisation their daily duties in the community include:

  • Motivational talks to women of all walks of life
  • Counselling
  • Orphan care feeding +/- 250 children twice daily (breakfast and lunch)
  • Purchase and provision of school uniforms for the kids
  • We have established a support group
  • We take care of sick (HIV/AIDS) men and women
  • Take care of the elderly
  • Have an adult choir
